6 Requirements to become a Canadian Citizen

Child should be permanently lived in Canada, not for just three years.

Language: English and French are two official languages used in Canada. Hence, you should have good communication skills in any one of these languages. Applications between 18 and 54 will be asked to show the proof their ability to understand and speak these languages.

Criminal Record: You cannot apply for Canadian Citizenship if –
You have been found guilty of any indictable offence or any offence related to Citizenship Act, within three years before getting applied.
You are recently charged for any indictable offence or any other offence related to Citizenship Act.
You are prisoner, on probation or parole.
You are under order of removal.
You are charged for, under investigation of, or convicted for any crime or war-like crime which is harmful for humanity.

Knowledge: An applicant for Canadian Citizenship must abide by the responsibilities and rights of it, such as voting rights in elections. In addition, he or she should be well aware of the values, cultures, history, institutions and symbols of Canada.
