5 Best Cities to sell homes in Ontario Region

As per the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) members, the pricing of Ajax Condos for sale will continue to rise if the buyers demand for limited housing. From the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in November 2012, the five best cities in Ontario have been listed for selling homes.

Hamilton: As of November 2012, the listing price was around $369201 in average. As per the data collected by CREA, the pricing of real estate listing in 2013 were 6.1% higher than the amounts of houses in 2012 which were remained about 53 to 55 days before closing. On the MoneySense Magazine, Hamilton is ranked as second best place to live in. In the limits of city, there is no lack of employment and business opportunities.

St. Catharines: According to the Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation (CMHC) on the basis of its collected data, the listing prices have fall down by around 4% since spring season of 2012 as compared to last year. With the average housing price of around $227973, the listing price rose up by 2%. Students from all around the globe prefer St Catharines for McMaster University of Medicine and Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary.

Sudbury: According to the statistics revealed by CREA, the sales of plummeting homes, as of January 2012, have been rose up by 27% as compared to December 2012. In January 2013, the median listing price is around $235665 which is 2% hike from last year listings.

Thunder Bay: In Northwest Ontario, the pricing of real estate listing were grown up by 4% as of 2012 in comparison to 2011. With the average pricing of real estate listing of $184000, it is considered to be a remarkable hike of over 9% over last year. With the improvements in medical research, mining activities and educational opportunities, Thunder Bay is enjoying greater demand in housing, as per the CMHC. Though it is smaller as compared to Sudbury slightly, it enjoys a wide range of historical and cultural attractions such as Fort William Historical Park.

Windsor: Despite of increased housing prices by around 3% over last year, Windsor hosts average price of listing around $173000. The University of Windsor, low crime rates and various tourist attractions are enough to attract a number of visitors in Windsor. With various green spaces, the city earned its nickname as “The City of Roses”.
